Nissan Juke-R in Limited Edition

the production Nissan Juke-R will actually be more powerful than the concept as instead of sporting the MY10 GT-R's 485hp V6, it will get the 545-horsepower drivetrain and chassis of the improved MY12 (2013MY in North America) GT-R!
Nissan said it took the decision to produce the Juke-R after attracting enormous attention, especially since it debuted the 3.8-litre, 160mph (257km/h) model in Dubai in January this year.
"The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan’s most innovative models," said Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Product Manager for the Juke. "But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing – people were making offers for the original on the street!"
In fact, Nissan says it has already received firm orders for three cars, two of which come from a "high-profile and well-respected member of Dubai society".
“With such a strong reaction, and with three genuine offers on the table, we decided we had to make the car a reality," explained Dunsmore. "We can’t let down enthusiasts who are this keen to add to their collection of cars. The Juke-R has become something of a phenomenon and I’m enormously proud of the impact it has had. There will be more news to come on Juke later in the year," he said.
Aside from the three cars that have already been spoken for, Nissan said it will be taking more orders in the coming four weeks, before production starts in the summer. No pricing has been announced yet, though expect a six-figure sum for the 545hp crossover model.

Ferrari F70 Supercar Design Study :Constantin-Gabriel Radu

the Ferrari F70, hits showrooms in late 2013?
For now, this is a question that will likely remain mercifully answered, but we have an interesting design study for the Ferrari F70 that was penned by industrial designer and current employee of Pininfarina's German subsidiary in Rüsselsheim, Constantin-Gabriel Radu.
The concept borrows elements from both the Ferrari 458 Italia as well as the previous Enzo, combining curves with hard creases and a teardrop glasshouse. If this design were to be produced, we would imagine that the car would obtain more air vents both on the sides and more importantly, on the rear end.
Before we let you flip through the rest of the images, we will remind you that at last week's Beijing Motor Show, Ferrari previewed its new HY-KERS hybrid system that's bound for the Enzo's successor and which links a V12 engine to a pair of electric motors, one to power the car's auxiliary systems, and the other to drive the rear wheels.
It is believed that that combined output of the twelve cylinder engine and the electric motor will surpass the 900-horsepower mark.

2013 Nissan Sentra Sedan for North America

It doesn't take long to connect the dots after taking a quick look at the teaser photos and video of the 2013 Nissan Sentra for the North American market and comparing them with the official imagery of the new Nissan Sylphy sedan that was revealed today at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. Even though Nissan preferred to use the term "based on the Sylphy" in its press statement for the 2013 Sentra, it is evident that the two cars are more or less one and the same.
We expect that the differences between the two models will be limited to the trim accents inside and out such as the chrome bars on the front grille and the decorative wood panels on the center console, both of which will likely be deleted from the North American version. The Sylphy will be produced at the Dongfeng Nissan Huadu Plant facilities in Guangzhou and go on sale in China this summer. After its introduction in China, Nissan's new global sedan will be launched in most major markets around the world during the course of 2012 and approximately 120 countries by 2014. The Japanese automaker did not say under which name the car will be sold in other regions.
The exterior styling of the new Sentra / Sylphy takes a page or two from the design of the recently unveiled 2013 Altima, itself inspired from the larger Maxima.
The Chinese specification Sylphy is powered by a new 1.8-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine matched to a next-generation XTRONIC CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).
